      <image:title>Individuals - Individual Psychotherapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Individual therapy can be helpful when emotional difficulties feel persistent, confusing, or difficult to change. You may find yourself repeating patterns in relationships, struggling with anxiety or depression, or feeling affected by past experiences in ways that are not fully understood. Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers a space to explore these experiences in depth, with attention to the emotional patterns and meanings that shape how you experience yourself and others. Therapy can offer relief from immediate distress, while also creating space to understand the deeper patterns that give rise to it. As this understanding develops, change often becomes more stable and meaningful over time. The Focus of the Work This work attends not only to what is happening in the present, but to how past experiences, including trauma, continue to shape emotional life and relationships. Through careful reflection, patterns that once felt fixed can begin to shift. Getting Started Beginning individual therapy can feel uncertain, and it is not necessary to know exactly what you want to work on before starting. An initial consultation provides an opportunity to talk about what brings you in and to get a sense of how working together might feel.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Couples - Couples Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>Couples often seek therapy when patterns of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding feel repetitive or difficult to change. Conversations may return to the same concerns, leaving both partners feeling unheard or discouraged. Couples therapy offers a space to slow these interactions down and to understand the emotional patterns that develop between partners over time. Therapy can help reduce immediate conflict, while also creating space to understand the deeper dynamics that give rise to it. As this understanding develops, new ways of relating often emerge more naturally. I work with couples across a range of identities and relationship configurations, including LGBTQ+ couples.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Clinicians - Clinical Supervision and Consultation</image:title>
<image:caption>I offer clinical supervision and consultation to psychotherapists who are interested in deepening their psychoanalytic and psychodynamic understanding of clinical work. Supervision provides a space to think together about clinical process, transference and countertransference, and the complexities that emerge in ongoing treatment. My approach emphasizes careful listening, curiosity, and openness to multiple perspectives, with attention to both clinical theory and the lived experience of the therapeutic relationship. Whom I Work With I work with: Early-career clinicians seeking to develop a psychodynamic perspective Experienced therapists interested in deepening analytic thinking Clinicians in psychoanalytic training programs Therapists seeking consultation around complex or long-term cases Approach to Supervision Supervision is not oriented toward evaluation, but toward collaborative reflection on clinical experience. Attention is given to moments of uncertainty, impasse, and emotional difficulty in treatment, as these often open important avenues for understanding. The aim is to support the development of each clinician’s own clinical voice and capacity for reflective practice. Format Supervision and consultation are available in person in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area or remotely.</image:caption>
