Clinical Supervision and Consultation

I offer clinical supervision and consultation to psychotherapists who are interested in deepening their psychoanalytic and psychodynamic understanding of clinical work. Supervision provides a space to think together about clinical process, transference and countertransference, and the complexities that emerge in ongoing treatment.

My approach emphasizes careful listening, curiosity, and openness to multiple perspectives, with attention to both clinical theory and the lived experience of the therapeutic relationship.

Who I Work With

I work with:

  • Early-career clinicians seeking to develop a psychodynamic perspective

  • Experienced therapists interested in deepening analytic thinking

  • Clinicians in psychoanalytic training programs

  • Therapists seeking consultation around complex or long-term cases

Approach to Supervision

Supervision is not oriented toward evaluation, but toward collaborative reflection on clinical experience. Attention is given to moments of uncertainty, impasse, and emotional difficulty in treatment, as these often open important avenues for understanding.

The aim is to support the development of each clinician’s own clinical voice and capacity for reflective practice.

Format

Supervision and consultation are available in person in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area or remotely.
