Couples Therapy
Couples often seek therapy when patterns of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding begin to feel repetitive or difficult to change. Conversations may return to the same concerns, leaving both partners feeling unheard or discouraged.
Couples therapy offers a space to slow these patterns down and to understand the emotional meanings that shape them. Attention is given not only to communication, but to how each partner’s history, expectations, and emotional experience contribute to the relationship as it unfolds.
The aim is not simply to resolve disagreements, but to develop a deeper understanding that allows new ways of relating to emerge over time.
I welcome LGBTQ+ couples and people in nontraditional relationships.
